With ten businesses and a total order value of over MSEK 150, Valutec has ended 2017 on a high note. In the last three months of 2017, sawmills in Sweden, Finland and Norway together invested in 25 kilns from Valutec. The company total for the year was over 40 kilns sold throughout Europe, with a total drying capacity of around 2 million cubic meters (850 million MBF).

Following a year where Valutec grew on several international markets, 2018 is off to a flying start with three major deliveries to Västerbotten county in the norhern parts of Sweden. These were Martinsons, who invested in one TC continuous kiln and five batch kilns in Bygdsiljum, and Norra Skogsägarna who invested in TC continuous kilns for their sawmills in Kåge and Sävar. Both companies made investments as a key part of comprehensive increases in production.

“For the first time in our history, we will have a turnover of over 38 million USD. This is a milestone and proof that we are continuing to push forward development in lumber drying,” says Robert Larsson, CEO of Valutec.
